NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA – The Universal City-North Hollywood Jaycees will once again be organizing their annual Operation Santa project this holiday season. Since 1998, hundreds of local low-income children have received presents as a result of Operation Santa.

The Jaycees work with local schools to collect student’s letters to Santa Clause. With the help of volunteers and support of the local community, toys are then collected for each child.  In year’s past, volunteers dressed as Santa, Mrs. Claus, and elves have delivered presents to the children on Christmas Eve. This year, the Jaycees will also be throwing a Christmas party with Santa and his elves for the children and their families.

The Operation Santa project has continually been a great success as a result of support from members of the Universal City/North Hollywood area.
