The Universal City-North Hollywood Jaycees develops and runs community projects ranging from providing low-income children with back to school clothing as well as toys for the holidays. We help the homeless, beautify our community and are active in civic affairs. The greatest ingredient of any community development project is you— we give you the opportunity to develop and manage significant community projects from start to finish.

Learn. Grow. Succeed. From experiential learning through developing and managing projects to classroom style training, Jaycees members don’t sit still. They are constantly striving to be better, more informed individuals.

Our program includes competition in public speaking, writing and debate. We offer training sessions on topics from being a first time homebuyer, investing, gourmet cooking, to name a few. We also take group trips to museums, the theatre and concerts. And through our international connection, we often have cultural exchanges with young people from all over the world.
